From high school sweethearts to man and wife; Is that out of a romance novel or is that real life? Real life for these two! I had the pleasure of meeting Abigail through a referral from a previous bride, and she knew what she wanted from the start! Clean and classic, with a hint of glam. Michelle and I had a lot of fun glamming up the bride and mother of the bride; as they have very different styles! Both are the epitome of femininity; and I would consider their looks to be some of my favorites. Mrs. Day, the mom of the bride, went for a little spunk with her shoulder length ‘do and smokey eye; while Abigail went for classic, All American bridal glam. They gave us an idea of their visions, but ultimately, left it up to Michelle and me to create their looks for such an unforgettable day! The trust and confidence that your brides and their families invests in you is the best feeling. Thank you Mrs. Tuck and Mrs. Day for sharing such a special moment of your lives with us! Abigail and her mother were the ideal clients, and definitely sums up what a Shear Hotness bridal party is: Sugar and Spice and everything nice!

Shear Hotness takes pride in giving back and spreading love to the community! A few years ago, I had the pleasure of donating services to a bride and her family that was experiencing the blow that cancer selfishly delivers. Having been affected personally by losing my mother in law to cancer (breast) 2 years before our wedding, I thought that I could try to help in any way possible! Project Shear Kindness was born, and we try to make it a priority to extend our services to those suffering; and I am looking to bless another family! If you know a bride suffering from cancer, and hasn’t decided hair/makeup for her big day… I’d love to hear from you! Please email me, telling me why you think she would be the perfect candidate, and what this would mean to her! Thank you all for the love you give me every day, and I look forward to reading some AWESOME emails!! [email protected]

I’ve had the pleasure of working with the owner/event planner of Weddings From The Heart, Jean Neuhart, twice, and each time was definitely unforgettable! She was extremely kind, and everything ran smoothly, from what I could see. She was extremely organized, and just warm and inviting! Jean is a team player, and I look forward to the next time that we can collaborate! So without further ado, I present to you Jean Neuhart of Weddings From The Heart!
Who started the business?
I, Jean Neuhart, developed and started Weddings From The Heart.
Inspiration behind the concept?
My husband Rob & I were married in 1988, and we planned our wedding (mostly during lunch breaks as many vendors were closed by the time we got off of work).
Although it was stressful, something about the experience stuck with me, and for the next few years I would talk about learning how to plan weddings as a profession. There was never an a ha moment of “this is want I want to do.” Instead it was a gradual progression of an interest blossoming.
What services does Weddings From The Heart offer?
I offer a variety of services including full-service planning, wedding weekend orchestration, consulting, professional vendor referrals, decor and design ideas, invitations, accessories/keepsakes – as much or as little as the couple want and need. While we have 3 main “packages,” each couple has their own unique wedding vision, so all of our services are uniquely tailored for every couple.
What makes Weddings From The Heart different?
My personal, friendly, detail-oriented approach and calm demeanor resonates with my couples. Many couples are so busy with other things in their lives, like work, school, and family. The whole wedding experience – from planning to the day itself – should be enjoyable, not just another thing on the to-do list of life. Weddings From The Heart helps to achieve that for every one of our couples, by keeping them stress-free, organized, and on budget.
We say “For a Day Your Heart Will Never Forget” because wedding planning isn’t just about one day, but also for the feelings and memories created and remembered (by the couple, and their families and guests) for years to come.
Wedding planning/coordination is not a “job” but a passion, and an honor to be part of such an important day for any couple.
What’s new on the horizon?
With weddings there is always a “newness” since every couple has their own unique wedding vision and style. So what’s new on the horizon? Coming up with ways and ideas to meet our couples’ wedding wishes and desires – learning about new products – meeting new vendors – seeing what wedding trends we’ll all be seeing in 2015.
